Sustainably comfortable
The efficient underfloor heating is fed from district heating with diversified energy. This gives the BUWOG WEYDENHOF an outstanding primary energy factor of just 0.24. This means that for a heat output of one kWh in the building, only 0.24 kWh has to be fed into the building via the heating system. By comparison, this factor is 1.1 for a conventional oil or gas heating system. In addition, the BUWOG WEYDENHOF has excellent insulation to the KfW 55EE standard.
Certified sustainability: The BUWOG WOHNWERK quarter has been pre-certified by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) with “Gold” status — with
top marks in the areas of life cycle assessment, emissions, social infrastructure and mobility infrastructure, among others.

Open-plan living/dining area
The living and dining area has a very open design. This saves space, looks modern and makes the integrated kitchen and dining area the center of the apartment. The separate utility room offers space for a washing machine and dryer in most cases.
Depending on the location, the apartments have a private garden, terrace, balcony or spacious roof terrace and almost always have a view of the Spree.


The 3‑room apartments

Well thought-out floor plan
The large windows allow plenty of light into your new home, making the apartment particularly bright and friendly and giving it a very positive feel. Everyday utensils such as the washing machine and dryer are mostly housed in the separate utility room.
Most of the 3‑room apartments also have water views and, depending on their location, have a private garden, terrace, balcony or even a roof terrace.
The 4‑room apartments
More space on 95 to 127 m²

A 4‑room apartment is ready for anything and gives you freedom, flexibility and additional comfort.
A good start every day
All 4‑room apartments have two spacious bathrooms, some of which are en suite and directly accessible from the bedroom. Washing machines, dryers and household appliances can be found in an extra utility room in almost all apartments.
The center of coexistence
Naturally, the 4‑room apartments also benefit from a well thought-out floor plan and an open-plan living and dining area — the spacious center of the apartment where everyone feels at home.
Whether it’s a terrace, garden, balcony or sun-drenched roof terrace is entirely up to you. And the view of the water is almost always included.

Consistently sustainable
Sustainability has been an important topic at BUWOG long before it became a trend. Naturally, we also strive for the most sustainable implementation of the entire BUWOG WEYDENHOF project, from planning to construction and beyond.
During development, we paid particular attention to the use of predominantly renewable raw materials. Wood plays a major role in many parts of the building, for example the staggered storeys are constructed using environmentally friendly timber hybrid construction. All buildings have a suspended wooden façade.
The roofs are given an extensive green roof with a minimum thickness of 10 cm. This has an excellent, natural insulating effect and keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter. The open building structure also avoids heat islands. The proximity to the Spree also has a positive effect here.
We are also working hard to influence the microclimate in the neighborhood as positively as possible. The green underground car park makes a major contribution here. This is covered with a layer of soil up to 60 cm high. As few surfaces as possible are sealed throughout the district and mainly water- and air-permeable surfaces are used.
A total of 36 native trees and shrubs will be planted to provide pleasantly cool shade.
This intensive planting promotes biodiversity and also noticeably improves the air quality in the neighborhood by converting CO2 into oxygen and binding particulate matter.
At BUWOG WEYDENHOF, we are creating attractive offers for the mobility transition. The proximity to public transport makes it easy for you to leave your car at home. E‑cars can be charged in the underground car park. The entire district also offers a sufficient number of parking spaces for e‑bikes and cargo bikes.
